This painting, though simple to look at took me a lot of time to develop as it evolved around a preconceived concept. The grey background signifies how ‘truth’ and ‘lies’ are truly embossed in the same plane. The black appears to be pushed back deeper, while the white comes to fore with prolonged viewing. Eventually, it is between truth and lies that life happens.
