SERIES TWO – 3 – ROME – 18” X 24”
Through my travels to Rome, having read several books (The Family, by Mario Puzo being my favourite) about it and having been enthralled by its art, architecture and history- I’ve realised it has the most intricate, extravagant and beautiful culture, but also one of the bloodiest, murkiest histories.
This rendition is an abstract depiction and an attempt to capture the essence of Rome through my eyes.
It is a favourite of mine.
